Minister Muyingo has called for increased government allocation to higher education institutions across the country.

Speaking at the National Council for Higher Education forum, the minister emphasized that adequate funding is essential for improving infrastructure, research capacity, and faculty development.

"Investing in higher education is investing in Uganda's future," he stated. "We must prioritize funding to ensure our universities can compete regionally and globally."

The minister also highlighted the need for public-private partnerships to supplement government funding for tertiary education.
